Part-Time Accounts Clerk – T Wall Garages, Pensnett, Kingswinford

We are looking for a Part-Time Accounts Clerk to join our successful, independent, family-run dealership representing Vauxhall and Citroën in Kingswinford. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a local business that has proudly traded in the West Midlands for over 70 years.

About the Role

Working as part of a small, dedicated accounts team, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting regular vehicle stocktakes

• Reviewing internal and external service plans

• Maintaining vehicle debtor and creditor records

• Completing monthly Nominal Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations

• Reviewing Business Managers' financial logs

• Updating monthly performance data and statistics for the composite

• Raising and processing bank payments

• Performing general ad hoc duties appropriate to the position

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player, with a proven background in accounts. You should be able to work well under pressure to meet monthly deadlines.

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounts role (motor trade experience advantageous)

• High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Good numeracy and literacy

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Confident telephone manner

• Positive, process-driven attitude

Job Details

• Job Type: Part-Time (20–25 hours per week)

• Pay: £12.50 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience)

• Schedule: Day shifts, no weekends

• Location: On-site at Kingswinford, DY6 8XB

• Holidays: 22 days (pro-rata) + Bank Holidays

• Benefits: Staff discount, enrolment in NEST pension scheme
