The Vauxhall Lifetime 100,000 mile warranty

We’re so confident in Vauxhall quality and reliability that we are the first manufacturer in the UK to offer a warranty that can last a Lifetime. Available to the first owner of all new Vauxhall passenger cars, it’s valid for the lifetime of the vehicle up to a maximum of 100,000 miles.

How does it work?

Year 1
All new Vauxhall passenger cars are covered by a one-year unlimited mileage manufacturer’s warranty with qualifying repairs at no cost to you.

Years 2 & 3
The manufacturer’s warranty is extended for two more years up to a maximum of 60,000 miles.

Lifetime!
After that, Vauxhall provides a unique Lifetime Warranty, available to the first owner for an unlimited time period and a maximum of 100.000 miles.

Don’t forget, every new Vauxhall vehicle also comes with:

A full 6 year anti-perforation corrosion warranty, with no mileage restriction, subject to an annual corrosion protection service.
12 months free Vauxhall Assistance, covering UK and mainland Europe.

What is covered?

All Vauxhall warranties cover a huge range of vehicle parts – powertrain and steering, brake parts, cooling, safety systems, air-conditioning, electronic components and more. As with all new vehicle warranties, some things are not covered, of course, such as routine service and maintenance items, natural wear and tear, or if any non-approved modifications or conversions are carried out.

Free of charge vehicle repairs

The Vauxhall warranty is provided via a Vauxhall Authorised Repairer. All you have to do is present your Warranty Card along with your completed and up-to-date Service Booklet to a Vauxhall Authorised Repairer. The lifetime warranty is dependent on an annual vehicle check at an Vauxhall Authorised Repairer who will activate the warranty extension for another year.

Available on all new Vauxhall passenger cars.

Ford New vehicle warranty

When you take delivery of your new Ford, you receive a comprehensive warranty to ensure you enjoy confident motoring.

Our warranty protects your car for up to three years from the moment of delivery.

To begin with, your Ford warranty covers you for one year with unlimited mileage. From then on, Ford Protect will safeguard you for another two years or a total of up to 60,000 miles, whichever passes first.
(Remember, the 60,000 mile limit includes the mileage you covered in your first year of ownership.)

So if any part of your car requires repair or replacement during this period, as a result of a manufacturing defect, the work will be done free of charge by a Ford Authorised Repairer.

There are also separate warranties to cover paintwork, corrosion, repaired or replaced parts and premature wear and tear.
The cover continues even if you sell your Ford, too.

In addition, you receive a year’s free Ford Assistance, which gives you access to round-the-clock help at home as well as roadside repair, recovery and rescue throughout Europe, 24/7.

You can also extend your Warranty for another two years, provided you do so within 12 months of registering your new vehicle, or before it’s done 20,000 miles.

Vauxhall Assistance

Vauxhall Assistance is provided automatically with every new Vauxhall for 12 months from first registration and covers incidents such as accidents, mechanical breakdown, flat tyres to illness whilst driving. With Vauxhall Assistance, help is literally just a free phone call away, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year!

While Vauxhall Assistance aims to provide the driver with peace of mind motoring, it is important to remember that the programme benefits are primarily aimed to cover manufacture based or mechanical faults affecting the vehicle. The policy does not cover certain self-induced incidents such as the use of incorrect fuel, lost keys or instances where keys have been locked in the vehicle. It also does not cover instances where the keys are stolen. Should contact be made requesting assistance on these items the AA will be glad to arrange assistance if requested to do so, but there will be a charge.

Vauxhall Assistance is a vehicle based package so it covers anyone driving your Vauxhall with your permission.

Ford Direct warranty and roadside assistance

Your Ford Direct car comes with the reassurance of two years’ comprehensive, unlimited mileage warranty. This covers you against failure due to manufacturing or material defects in most original specification components.

Not only do you have the reassurance of the manufacturer’s own warranty, but there are also no limits on the number of claims you can make. Terms and conditions apply.

You also receive two years’ Ford Assistance cover, including roadside assistance, assistance at home and vehicle recovery. We can provide onward travel and car hire if you need it, too. Ford Assistance covers most European destinations, and is valid for any driver of your car, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

AA Warranty Dealer Care Extended Guarantee

AA Warranty dealer care extended guarantee is available for up to 3 years, from date of purchase or the expiry of the manufacturers' warranty.

Unlimited claims up to the retail value of the vehicle in aggregate and the balance of your warranty can be transferred following the direct sale of your vehicle to a new private owner. There is no excess and no mileage limitations.
